Summer 2006

Wow, this summer has flown by! Our family was very busy with camping, trips to see family and it went too fast. We did have alot of fun though! Kiersten started second grade today and loved it. Madison starts kindergarden next week and is very excited about that. We are actually looking forward to moving into the fall season and getting into a routine again. I am going to try and post a couple pictures from this summer of the girls with their "catches". We spent some time up in Alaska with Marc's folks and they each were able to reel in a silver salmon which they were very excited about. They also thought the black bear we saw on the river bank was pretty cool ( unlike their mom). :)
We pray for our little Malea every night and are awaiting the day we can go and pick her up. The latest news from our agency is we hope to get our referral in Dec,Jan or Feb of 2007. So, that will be here quickly but everything in China seems to have changed so much recently we are not going to get too excited until we have her picture and our plane tickets in hand. God has given us such a peace that we know His timeline is perfect, not ours. Happy fall to all of you!
