Marc wrote the post last night, so I thought I would write a little this morning. We had our first night in the hotel (we are staying at the Regal Kowloon Hotel in downtown HK, and we have a great view of the whole bay from our room.)last night. The beds are more comfortable than I thought they would be! We were all pretty tired out yesterday so I think we all slept pretty well, considering everything. Maddie is still coughing alot and not herself so if you think about it, pray that she gets well soon.
The flight was pretty noneventful ( Charis: we had some pretty good turbulence for a couple hours, you would have loved it:)). Kiersten and Madison are great travelers, and they seemed to just go with the flow on the plane. We all know how gross airplane bathrooms are and after 15 hours, they took on a whole new level of "grossness".:)The people here are very friendly and accomodating, they all appear to love children. The girls are getting lots of stares.
Disney HK was a blast. It is quite a bit smaller than Disney in Anaheim and we were all done in about 5 hours. The park is very clean and there were hardly any lines. It was great to have that to keep us occupied and awake for a few hours. Hong Kong is a very modern, westernized city and we feel really comfortable walking around by ourselves.
This morning we went to the big breakfast buffet at the hotel, it was huge and delicious. Today we are heading out to do some shopping and then take a cable car up the side of a mountain to some big Buddhist temple. We will try to post more pics either tonight or tomorrow morning. Feel free to leave comments and thanks for the prayers!
Love all of you!
Abby

YEAH, Abby you survived the plane trip (and the bathrooms, that were rather disgusting at the end of our flight too). The flight home will be much shorter with a tail wind (that's how it worked for us). We will pray for Madison too. Hope she is sleeping okay and not keeping everyone awake. I loved Mark's comments about HK. I can so relate, those were my exact feelings that just grew stronger the longer I was in Korea, I found myself just LOVING their culture and people. I just felt like WOW these people live sort of like we do but different and are still alive and functioning, AMAZING. Also loved the girls having to pose for pictures...too cute. Love & Prayers, the Roberts family.
