Got jet lag?

Hello friends!
We figured we'd post one last time to conclude the trip. We have gotten a few e-mails from friends asking if we're back. So, to keep you from wondering if we may be enjoying an involuntary float in the Pacific ocean....we're home!

On this Easter morning we are very thankful. First, we're thankful for Easter. Though the full-felt jet lag prevented us from attending church this morning, we had a neat family Easter service at home. How fun it was for the five of us to sit on the couch around the bible and discuss Easter.

And, we're simply thankful to be home. Thanks to all of you for joining us on our journey. You will never understand how much it meant to us to know so many of you were joining us on our trip through the blog and through prayers. The blog site was originally for your benefit so you could keep up with us. Little did we know that we would be the ones who needed it more than you. It was a large blessing every day to wake up and read your comments and e-mails. Thank you for the time you took to stay in touch. You were a blessing to us on our trip.

Friends, it was a special moment on our first night to finally lay Malea in her own crib that had been prepared for her by Abby. Placing Malea in her crib symbolized the conclusion of our journey. This little person we have prayed for and anticipated over two years was finally sleeping peacefully in her little bed. With our first two nights behind us and our first Easter upon us, we sincerely thank you for your love and prayers. Our family looks forward to many more years of faith, love, and adventure. We do not know what that may look like or what the future holds but we most certainly know who holds the future.

We are blessed.
