Getting the Tree

Today we drove with some friends over Lolo pass to Idaho into the Lolo National Forest and got our tree. It was alot of fun, the kids always enjoy hunting for the "perfect tree" and looking forward to drinking hot chocolate afterwards!

This year was a little different because there is no snow here yet and it was a fairly warm day. Last year there was a couple feet of snow when we got our tree, but it is a little easier to not have the kids trying to hike through all the deep snow, although not as pretty for pictures! :)

After we got our trees, we went back to our friends home for snacks and the kids got in their hot tub which of course they loved.
