Alaska Trip

We just got back from 2 weeks in Alaska with Marc's family and my sister and reconnecting with friends from up there. Here are a bunch of pics of our time there. There are many more but this is all the energy I have time for right now! :)
Harvesting honey with Grandpa Dave at his house. Came away with no stings and the girls learned alot about bees and how they make honey, great experience. The hives have done really well this year.
Marc had some state farm agents up there during our trip for a 4 day business trip. They did many AK things like fishing, hiking and 4 wheeling. Here are a couple of pics from our trip with them up to the Knik glacier on 4 wheelers. They had a really fun time as you can see. This river was fun to cross and no one floated away!

Fishing with dad on a the Little Willow river. Maddie loved fishing, no silver salmon caught this trip snagged a couple of pink salmon which we just released back in as they are not very good to eat.
Finally caught a silver with help from Grandma Karen.

Spent some time with my sister Rachel and her family. This is a picture at the top of the "Butte" which we hiked up. The fireweed is about almost done blooming but still pretty.

Feeding the caribou at the local caribou farm. Malea did really well and fed them herself (not pictured) even though one decided to be over friendly and knock her over with it's hoof.

Fun times with Parker and Noah on their new raft!

Spent alot of time on the 4 wheelers at Grandpa's house.
