This is the first year that Malea really gets the whole Santa thing and she is so excited about him visiting our home on Christmas Eve and filling her stocking! There is a local Santa who visits the girl's school every year and hands out books so we went last week and were able to go into one of the classrooms and visit Santa while he was there. We happened to drive up to the school when Santa was arriving in his big 4wheel drive truck and Malea saw him get out and said "Mom, why isn't he driving his sleigh?" I just told her that his sleigh was getting fixed maybe and he was borrowing a truck. ( Not completely honest I know.)
