Pig Wrestling

I am sure you have heard the term "squeal like a stuck pig". After today I am reminded of why that phrase exists. The girls and their dad successfully got those little suckers out of the pen that has been their home for the last several weeks. They look small but are very quick and somewhat stubborn. Leaving their little pen is not high on their priority list because there is electric fence that runs around the inside of their pen and they have ran into it enough to know that it is not wise to approach the fence. Sooooo when you ask them (or shove them) towards the gate to exit they protest strongly and loudly. We needed to get them out so the girls can start walking them with their pig sticks and teach them how to behave like a good little pig for the fair in August.
Marc and Kiersten trying to corral her piggie towards the gate. Quite entertaining! Maddie chasing Esmeralda....like I said they are fast but won't be when they get a little fatter.:)

Finally Lucille Ball is calming down. See the neighbor's house behind Kiersten? They have told us they sit at their window and watch us with the pigs, must be quite a show!

Esmerlda is finally laying down after exhausting herself. She decided to lay right in the poop-hay that used to be in their pig house, thus the need for rubber boots.
