Just an update on our adoption. Now we are waiting for our travel notice from the Chinese govt. That should hopefully be here within the next 2 weeks. All offices are closed in China this whole week due to Chinese New Year, so that MAY slow things down slightly. After we get the TA ( travel notice), then we fax it back that same day and we wait for our CA ( Consulate Appointment) at the US Embassy in Guangzhou. This usually take 4-6 days to accomplish this. Once we have our CA, we book our tickets and usually leave a week to 10 days later. So, once we get our TA, we will have a little better "ballpark" figure of when we might be leaving!
Wow, I hope that didn't totally confuse all of you!
I was reading John 14 tonight that talks about The Father sending the Holy Spirit (Counselor) to be with us. Verse 18 says : " I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you". I am so thankful for this great gift to us of the Holy Spirit who intercedes on our behalf and who comforts us. I asked Him tonight to comfort Malea in her little crib in that orphanage, and to use her life, and Kiersten and Madison's lives to glorify Him.

Oh, makes me CRY thinking of that precious little girl in her crib and you here praying for her to be comforted. Thanks for sharing and Madie looks darling with her missing toothe and all. Take care and thanks for letting me be a part of the SPEAR blogs!!
