Sorry it has taken me a few days to post these pics of our girl trip to LA, it has been really busy since we got back and I have been trying to figure out how to post the video from my camera on to my blog that is of the girls surprised reaction to finding out about the trip. It is a really funny video and I wanted to share it but I will have to try later when I have more time and patience. :) We had a great time on our trip and feel grateful for the mother daughter time together!
The first day we spent the majority of the day at the American girl store. It was really big and neat to look around in. The day included shopping there, visiting the doll hair salon where they both got their doll's hair styled and visiting the photo studio where they got their pictures taken with their dolls. Oh, and then lunch with the dolls which was a really good three course affair, with dishes for the dolls and all. Every little girls dream! :)
Madison watching her get her dolls hair done int the doll hair salon. There were about 15 hair styles you could pick from to have the ladies do to your doll. You can now get your dolls ears pierced too, but we didn't do that.
At Santa Monica Beach the second day. The girls loved the beach and did some body surfing. Love the 80 degree weather!

Looks like a really fun time!
Yay for doing that for your girls- that will always be a special memory. I look forward to doing a similar trip with Savannah in many more years. Cute pictures!
