Some of the teachers of the 2nd grade in our school along with some other schools in Missoula entered their students' drawings into an art contest last month. The contest was for the CATCH program which is basically a program to promote wellness and balanced diets in kids ( I forget what all the letters stand for). Madison's drawing won 1st place and so her picture is now on the front of calenders and posters in Missoula and I think she will get a t-shirt too.

Just had to brag on my girl a little!

A side note: Her teacher came up to me a few weeks ago and was all excited and telling me that Maddie had won! So, when she came home from school that day, I was asking her questions like "What does your picture look like? What is the CATCH program?, etc.." She looked at me and said, "Mom, how am I supposed to remember what I drew??" I think her blondeness goes very deep!! :)
