Pottery Day

The girls had a little "field trip" to a pottery studio today. We had lots of fun and each of them got to make something. The owner of the studio is teaching them about the kiln below. I had no idea that pottery is fired at temps above 1800 degrees! Wow, that is crazy hot.

Maddie and Kiersten both decided to make platters.

Elani LOVED just playing with the clay and putting it all over herself, so I mostly made hers and tried to keep her from getting clay all over the place! :)
